Igniting a New Era of Creativity

Join Us in Shaping the Steamboat Springs Arts District

We invite you to join us in a transformative endeavor that will redefine the cultural landscape of Steamboat Springs, CO.

Imagine a place where creativity knows no bounds, where the arts come to life in breathtaking performances, and where every note, every step and every brushstroke contributes to the tapestry of our shared human experience.

Our vision for the Steamboat Springs Arts District is one of innovation, inspiration and inclusion.

Our community has been a leader in the arts since the first white settlers, the Crawford family, arrived from Missouri with an organ and paints included in their belongings. In 1915, Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School & Camp opened as a way to integrate the wilderness, dance, theatre and the arts. Today, PMC is the oldest continually operating performing arts camp in the country.

In order to fully realize the potential of our local talent and to elevate our cultural offerings to new heights, we need a dedicated space that nurtures and celebrates the arts in all their forms. The Steamboat Springs Performing Arts District is that space.

What we Aim to Achieve:

World-Class Performance Spaces: Our district will house state-of-the-art theaters, galleries and creative workspaces, offering a platform for local and national artists to showcase their talents and bringing internationally acclaimed performers to Steamboat Springs.

Educational Outreach: We are committed to nurturing young talent through arts education programs, providing scholarships and mentorship opportunities to our youth. We believe every child should have the chance to explore their artistic potential.

Cultural Exchange: The Performing Arts District will not only be a cultural hub but also a place where we celebrate diversity and global connections. We aim to host events that showcase the rich tapestry of our world’s cultures, fostering understanding and unity.

Economic Impact: A thriving arts district will not only enrich our cultural life but will also boost our local economy. By attracting visitors and residents alike, we will create job opportunities and increase the prosperity of our community.

To make this vision a reality, we are seeking visionary philanthropists like you to join our Exclusive Founders Circle. Your generous contribution will enable us to break ground, construct world-class facilities and initiate the first season of breathtaking performances. Together, we can make Steamboat Springs an arts destination for generations go come.
